Enjoy Fish and Chips on the Beach

Brighton, located between the South Downs and the sea, is less than 1 Hour from London by Train and is one of Britain's trendiest cities, it was the fun-loving Prince Regent, later King George IV, who made this resort fashionable, building the exotic, oriental-style Royal Pavilion as his pleasure dome in 1822. It's Famous for it's shopping and it's contemporary art and culture scene. The ideal place to enjoy fish and chips as you wander along the seafront.

For the kid in all of us there is the Brighton Toy and Model Museum, convineiently located under Brighton Railway Station. 

 ..over 10,000 exhibits on display, including a collection of model trains, dating from the 1860s to the present day, toys from the last 100 years, many period antique toys and toys from the world's top toy makers.

Being an authorised Visitor Information Point where visitors are able to access free maps and literature on attractions in the area, it really is the ideal start to your day. 

At the Booth Museum of Natural History you'll find.. 

Over half a million specimens and natural history literature and data extending back over three centuries housed in this fascinating museum. Exhibits include hundreds of British birds displayed in recreated natural settings, insects from butterflies to beetles, a killer whale skeleton and dinosaur bones. Plus special exhibitions and children's activities

Of course the British Seaside wouldn't be the British Seaside without a pier and Brighton's is open daily (except for Christmas day).

The Royal Pavillion in Brighton

A Victorian pier with various food and drink outlets, fairground attractions and Palace of Fun arcade. Palm Court Fish Restaurant, Victoria's bar and Horatio's bar. With a choice of bars and our famous fish and chip restaurant, Brighton Pier makes it a day to remember! 

The Royal Pavilion is..

The spectacular seaside palace of the Prince Regent (George IV) transformed by John Nash between 1815 and 1822 into one of the most dazzling and exotic buildings in the British Isles.  The Pavilion houses furniture and works of art including original pieces lent by HM The Queen and a magnificent display of Regency silver-gilt. The Royal Pavilion Tearoom, with its fabulous balcony, overlooks the Pavilion gardens, which have also been returned to their original Regency splendour.
